The word entrepreneur may call to mind a particular type of person. You may imagine someone gregarious with a firm handshake and a winning smile. If you’re an entrepreneur, you may have some of those traits, but you may wonder if there are traits that predict business success. Some outside input from experts in the know can help clarify your thinking.
I’ve asked business coaches from around the world for an answer to an important question:
“Are there any signs/traits a person shows that can predict business success?”
Three Common Traits
“The three common traits most successful business owners I’ve met or worked with tend to have are:
- They build their business by leaning into what matters most to them.
- They don’t take it personally. They understand that continual failure and learning how to pivot through failure are key to reaching business success.
- They use their intuition on purpose for results. The more entrepreneurs start paying attention to and acting on these insights the easier it will be to make decisions and create success.”

Accept BIG Challenges
“Aim for BIGGER problems, not fewer! Sounds crazy, right? Bigger projects, larger teams, grand commitments…these are signs you’re playing a larger game in life! So, don’t just wish your problems away. Instead, level up, and crave those BIGGER problems!”
